2025 Youth Mission Trip

We had a sad goodbye, many tears were shed as we said goodbye to our new friends. Our students wrote encouraging notes to each other and students from other groups throughout the week and read them this morning.

This was certainly a trip full of lifelong memories! Thanks for all of your support and prayers. We can't wait to get home, share testimonies, tell stories, and get some SLEEP!😴

Our last ministry day This week went by way too fast. The Holy Spirit has rested upon us and we are so grateful. Thank you for all your prayers and encouraging words. We spent our final day serving a thrift store, hanging out with senior citizens, gardening, painting local's homes, and giving a porch a facelift.

After a bittersweet day of work, we headed to the park for fellowship and dinner. It was a beautiful evening walking on a boardwalk and playing on a playground!

The evening came to a close with a foot washing ceremony. It was a humbling experience for the leaders and the students. We encountered the one true living God once again. It was a night spent in tears and worship. The leaders washed the students feet and prayed over them. A supernatural night that will never be forgotten.

It was a late night 😅 most of us didn't go to sleep till 2am !

We worked really hard today, but the Lord worked even more! Some of our students got to paint a lovely woman in ministry's house. She was very welcoming, singing them the worship songs she wrote, as well as cooking and feeding them some authentic Bayou fish and shrimp! It was a very hot day, but our students beat the heat!

We ended the night at a local church for dinner, worship, and a service. Our students were overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit. When we came back to the community center for church group devotions, our students cried their hearts out singing praises to the Lord. Chains were broken and hearts were changed!

We are looking forward to another night of powerful testimonies and worship before we head off tomorrow!

Our students worked so hard for the Lord on Tuesday, the leaders from the other churches and the volunteer locations sang BBCC kids' praises. We worked in the gardens, food bank, a high school football field, and a thrift store. It's beautiful to see the joy our students have serving in the community.

After a very long, hot & sweaty day, we enjoyed our tour of a local T-shirt shop owned by a sweet elderly couple from the Bayou. The students were very excited to get matching T-shirts and beanies.

We ended the day with a church trip to McDonald's for a sweet treat.

we have had amazing conversations about what it looks like to be a disciple of Jesus. The students have such a profound understanding of Christlike service coming from a pure heart and the abundance of love Jesus pours out for us!

First work day was AMAZING! We have some hard-working students motivated by Jesus to serve all around them with big smiles!

Students and chaperones were split into their mixed work groups where we painted a middle school classroom, did yard work, cleaned a shed, helped in a thrift store, and served in a food pantry.

After a sweaty work day, we went to Dauphin Island for some swimming, volleyball, and worship! Our students sang their hearts to the Lord!
